JOB SUMMARY :
Join one of the prestigious hospitals in Saudi Arabia as a Nephrology Resident, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced nephrologists and participate in the care of patients with kidney-related conditions. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of senior medical staff.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and adjust treatment regimens based on patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document all clinical activities, including diagnoses and treatments.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend medical rounds and participate in case discussions.
- Engage in continuous medical education (CME) and training programs.
- Stay informed about the latest medical advancements and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Provide clear explanations of medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Adhere to ethical standards, medical regulations, and hospital policies.
- Obtain and maintain necessary licensing from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity in patient interactions.
- Respect diverse patient backgrounds and perspectives
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the enhancement of patient care services.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Master's degree certification in Nephrology or Family Medicine.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in Royal Colleges or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the Resident as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
- One year of experience after certification.
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
