About the Role

A reputable clinic in Sheikh Zayed City is seeking a Medical Services Director (also known as Medical Affairs Director, Healthcare Administration Director, or Quality & Compliance Director) to oversee the operational, regulatory, and administrative aspects of medical services. This senior leadership role ensures compliance with Egyptian healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and hospital policies, while managing budgets, resources, and service integration to achieve efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational plans for medical services aligned with hospital strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations, Egyptian healthcare laws, and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, ISO, Egyptian Board of Healthcare Accreditation).
  • Supervise licensing, credentialing, and audit readiness of medical staff.
  • Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets for medical services.
  • Oversee procurement of medical equipment, supplies, and technologies.
  • Monitor resource utilization to balance financial efficiency with quality care.
  • Lead external audit preparations and accreditation processes.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to integrate services across departments.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) or equivalent medical degree. Pharmacy, Dentistry, or Physiotherapy graduates may be considered for compliance-focused roles.
  • Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in healthcare, with 3–5 years in medical administration, compliance, or hospital operations in Egypt.
  • Registration: Valid license from the relevant Egyptian syndicate (Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, or Physiotherapy) and Ministry of Health.
  • Preferred: Postgraduate diploma in Hospital/Healthcare Management, MBA in Healthcare, or MHA.
  • Skills: Expertise in Egyptian healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, financial planning, resource management, and bilingual communication (Arabic & English).
