The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Practitioner with a background in IT Audit or Consultancy to join a key regulatory body in Singapore. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the resilience of the Infocomm and Media (ICM) landscape. You will lead the planning and execution of governance initiatives that directly impact the reliability and security of critical digital services nationwide.

Core Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure sector-wide compliance with national cybersecurity regulations and conduct rigorous reviews of submitted audit reports.
  • Remediation Management: Track, validate, and follow up on identified security gaps with industry operators to ensure robust risk mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between internal divisions and external licensed operators to administer cybersecurity frameworks and verify audit completeness.
  • Strategic Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports on cybersecurity metrics and track key Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) performance indicators to provide a clear view of the sector's security posture.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in Cybersecurity, Technical Audit, or GRC-focused roles.
  • Framework Expertise: Deep knowledge of risk management standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001/2) and global best practices (e.g., ITU, GSMA, 3GPP).
  • Cloud Proficiency: Practical understanding of various Cloud environments, including security controls and assurance methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional English communication and presentation skills; proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
  • Certifications: Professional credentials such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP are highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience within the ICM environment or an understanding of its specific risk profiles will be considered a significant advantage.
