We're Hiring: Application Support Specialist (Level 2)

We're seeking a talented Application Support Specialist to join our innovative team, where you'll become an expert in enterprise systems while working with cutting-edge technologies. No prior Oracle EBS experience? No problem – we'll train you!

As our Application Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring our critical business applications run smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support for Oracle EBS and our suite of in-house applications
  • Investigate and resolve complex application issues escalated from Level 1 support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance system performance
  • Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users
  • Document solutions and contribute to our growing knowledge base
  • Participate in exciting implementation and upgrade projects
  • Conduct user training sessions and create user-friendly guides

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5-7 years of IT experience (application support, system administration, or related fields)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
  • Experience with SQL and database querying
  • Understanding of ITIL practices and incident management
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice-to-Have (But We'll Train You!):

  • Oracle EBS experience (seriously, we'll provide comprehensive training)
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, Unix/Linux environments
  • Experience with integration tools and APIs
  • ITIL certification
