Lead the onsite operations of a major themed exhibition and help create a memorable experience for visitors. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the guest experience team and ensure smooth coordination across manpower, visitor flow and venue activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Guest Experience Operations plan to ensure efficient operations and consistent service standards.
- Oversee daily onsite operations, including visitor flow, route management and VIP arrangements.
- Plan manpower deployment, duty rosters and staffing requirements to meet operational needs.
- Recruit, train and supervise digital ambassadors, guides and ground staff.
- Ensure the operations team understands the exhibition's attractions, site layout, app, photo system and themed content.
- Conduct staff briefings, training and performance reviews, addressing service and performance gaps.
- Monitor monthly operational budgets against plans and recommend adjustments based on operational needs.
- Work closely with the venue operations team to deliver a seamless visitor experience.
- Partner with Marketing to coordinate and execute promotions and corporate events.
- Handle visitor feedback, complaints and onsite incidents promptly and professionally.
- Identify operational risks and implement measures to support safe, smooth operations.
- Recommend improvements to workflows and the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience overseeing large-scale events and managing projects.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Strong manpower planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented approach.
- Able to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Responsible, resilient and attentive to detail, with sound judgement when handling onsite issues.
- Professional and trustworthy when handling confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Willing to work rotational weekend duties.
