JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Finance Manager
- Location: UOA Business Park 1, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia
- Full-Time, Onsite
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support business growth.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts to top management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and project ledger functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (Service Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Global Minimum Tax) and timely submission of tax returns for company and expatriates.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports for group consolidation.
- Manage treasury functions and liaise with bankers on facilities and queries.
- Manage finance and accounts for subsidiaries, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
- Execute ad-hoc tasks as required by the company.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Prior experience in audit and preparing financial statements.
- Strong hands-on experience working with banks and treasury management.
- Ability to voice out ideas and work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Xero, Mambu, and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
