Digital Forensics Incident Responder (Contract)

Salary: $5,000 - $10,500

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading organisation supporting Singapore's digital infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives to hire a Digital Forensics Incident Responder (DFIR).

This role focuses on investigating cybersecurity incidents, performing digital forensic analysis, and strengthening incident response capabilities in a high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate cybersecurity incidents involving digital forensics, malware analysis and log analysis
• Perform root cause analysis and support incident closure
• Work closely with DFIR analysts and security teams to ensure timely response to incidents
• Provide technical guidance on investigations and threat assessments
• Assess cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
• Maintain and update incident response playbooks and processes
• Monitor emerging threats and threat actor TTPs
• Prepare and present incident reports to stakeholders
• Support prioritisation of tasks within the team

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response or digital forensics
• Relevant certifications such as GIAC GCFA, GCFE, GCIH
• Hands-on experience with forensic tools (e.g. Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, X-Ways, FTK, Autopsy)
• Experience in Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills to present technical findings
