ANT Recruitment is partnering with a respected public sector organisation known for delivering high quality, innovative services. Were seeking a Programme Manager with strong experience in technology driven programmes to lead a high impact initiative that will drive measurable improvements in data, efficiency and operations.
Role Overview
You will take ownership of the end to end delivery of a major technology programme within the public sector. Your focus will be on governance, scalable delivery, transparent reporting and stakeholder trust. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, ensure alignment with organisational objectives and enable partners to deliver change and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of a largescale technology programme within a public sector context.
- Define and manage governance frameworks including RAID logs, escalation pathways, delivery plans and oversight boards.
- Manage budgets, resources, timelines and priorities to ensure successful execution.
- Ensure transparency and auditability of programme activities, decisions and changes.
- Enable scalability of the programme, adapting delivery teams as subprojects evolve.
- Build trusted relationships with external partners (e.g., trial leads, data providers) and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver measurable outcomes: improved trial access, data quality enhancement and operational efficiency improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing complex technology programmes in the public sector (ideally NHS or similar).
- Deep knowledge of programme and project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to structure, roadmap and align programme goals with organisational strategy.
- Skilled in setting up decision making frameworks, escalation procedures and oversight boards.
- Strong risk management acumen, proactive problem solver, and adaptable in approach.
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, comfortable engaging at senior levels.
- Experience managing budgets, resources and delivery teams.
- Understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks and public sector auditability.
Whats On Offer
- Salary: £54,000 £66,000 per annum (depending on experience) (Michael Page)
- Contract: Fixed Term (68 months) Homebased
