About the Role
ANT Recruitment is supporting an established UK rotary-wing aviation organisation with the appointment of an experienced B1.3 Licensed Helicopter Engineer.
You will join a growing engineering team responsible for maintaining VIP and air ambulance helicopters to the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance
- Complete aircraft inspections, fault diagnosis and defect rectification
- Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your licence and company approvals
- Ensure all work complies with UK CAA regulations and company procedures
- Complete accurate maintenance and technical records
- Work closely with engineering and maintenance-planning colleagues
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
- Provide occasional out-of-hours or operational support when required
Essential Requirements
- UK CAA Part-66 B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Strong knowledge of rotary-wing maintenance practices
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and within a professional engineering team
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Full UK driving licence
- Existing right to work in the UK
Desirable Experience
- Leonardo AW109 or AW169 type rating
- Previous VIP, HEMS or operational helicopter experience
- Experience within a UK CAA Part-145 maintenance environment
Type-rating training may be available for a suitably licensed engineer.
