Were currently recruiting a Repairs Scheduler to join a busy repairs team in the social housing sector in Bournemouth.
The Opportunity
This key role ensures that repairs and maintenance works are scheduled, coordinated and delivered efficiently. You'll liaise with engineers, tenants and internal teams to manage schedules, appointments and job progress across a social housing portfolio. With strong customer service, a proactive mindset and excellent organisational skills you'll help maintain a smooth and responsive repairs service.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and allocate daily repair jobs to engineers, optimising routing and time efficiency
- Liaise with tenants to confirm appointments and manage property access arrangements
- Arrange property surveys and follow up visits as required
- Monitor job progress and update scheduling systems to reflect accurate status and information
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with tenants, engineers and internal stakeholders
About You
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication with a customer focused approach
Previous experience in scheduling, coordination or repairs/maintenance role (social housing desirable)
Competence in scheduling software, job management systems and general IT use
A thoughtful, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
Whats On Offer
Salary: £25,000 £27,000 per annum
