The company has been growing each year and is now future proofing and consolidating their position within the market Therefore, we are looking for a Wholesale Sales Executive to join our team.
Overview of the role:
Focused on generating new business in Wholesale in connection with the NB Sales Team and to also increase revenue spend and seek NB across each customer and the area assigned, working together with other departments, to grow the business and each account.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies
- Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
- Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs.
- Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase.
- Advising the wider team on product improvements to include in forthcoming product and discussing special promotions.
- Creating proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedure
- Inspecting inventory in stock and the quality of the product on display
- Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations
Qualifications:
- A minimum two years commercial experience is required.
- Experience in FMCG is not compulsory however, preferred.
- IT literate Intermediate Microsoft excel and word skills.
- Good commercial awareness and a proven track record within a direct sales role would be of benefit. Basic understanding of Profit & loss accounts.
- Excellent business writing and time management skills.
- Good influencing and customers service skills.
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to converse with a diverse audience.
- High level of resilience and the ability to handle rejection well.
- A profound sense of self-motivation, ambition, and determination
- Ability to achieve desired results both individually and as a part of a team.
