Were currently recruiting a Multi skill Joiner to join an Empty Homes team committed to revitalising homes and supporting communities in North & East Yorkshire.
The Opportunity
This role offers a meaningful way to use your joinery and multi trade skills to bring homes back into use for residents in need. You'll be part of a dedicated team restoring properties across Yorkshire, working in a mobile, varied role where every day brings different tasks and challenges. You'll receive a company van, fuel card, modern tools and access to benefits and your work will directly support community housing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out joinery, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment across housing stock
- Travel across the Yorkshire region (North & East) as needed to ensure property readiness
- Engage with customers in a respectful, service focused manner
- Use your multi trade skills to handle varied tasks rather than just standard joinery
- Maintain your company vehicle, tools and complete accurate job records
- Participate in on call or emergency tasks if required by the team environment
- Support an inclusive workplace and reflect community values in your role
About You
Experienced tradesperson with previous work in joinery and repairs/maintenance roles
Comfortable working in social housing or residential property environments (desirable)
A full UK driving licence & ability to travel across Yorkshire properties
Strong customer service focus, excellent communication and ability to work independently
Flexible, proactive, able to adapt to varied daily tasks and new environments
Commitment to health & safety, quality workmanship and delivering an inclusive service
What's On Offer
Salary: £32,670 per annum
Permanent role with a focus on community housing and property restoration
