Were currently recruiting a Customer Support Advisor to join a respected government agency in Brighton, supporting their legal and case management teams through a high-quality call centre function.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced call centre professional to step into a stable, permanent public sector role with genuine career progression. Youll provide case-related telephone and email support, handling enquiries linked to tribunals, courts, and legal matters. Strong call control, professionalism, and empathy are key, as youll often be dealing with sensitive or emotive issues.
Youll also support essential administrative functions including document preparation, diary coordination, and stakeholder communication with employers, legal professionals, and pension providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
- Manage case-related enquiries by phone and email
- Maintain accurate digital and hard-copy records
- Support document prep for tribunals and court cases
- Assist legal and advisory teams with case updates and escalations
- Coordinate diaries, send agendas, and update case systems
- Contribute to a collaborative, hybrid-working public sector team
About You
Minimum 1 year of recent call centre experience (essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident handling sensitive or challenging calls
Highly organised and digitally literate
Able to manage workload independently while meeting service levels
Within commuting distance of Brighton
Available to start on 8th or 15th September
