Were currently recruiting a PA1 & PA6 Sprayer / to work with a housing association and grounds team covering the Birmingham / Redditch area.
The Opportunity
In this role youll join a grounds maintenance team carrying out pesticide spraying operations across housing and communal estates. Youll be responsible for applying herbicides or pesticides under PA1/PA6 licences, maintaining green spaces, and supporting general grounds duties to ensure safe, wellkept external environments for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply herbicides and pesticides under PA1 & PA6 licences across communal grounds and landscaped areas
- Carry out weed control, shrub maintenance and related grounds tasks
- Maintain records of applications, equipment and safety compliance
- Work with the maintenance team to deliver a high standard of communal outdoor spaces
- Liaise with residents or site teams as required to access areas and ensure working areas are safe
- Maintain standards of health & safety, PPE, vehicle/plant checks and pesticide storage
About You
Valid PA1 & PA6 pesticide spraying certifications
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
CSCS card or similar grounds/maintenance accreditation (desirable)
Experience of grounds maintenance, pesticide use and outdoor estates work
Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and ability to work independently
Ability to carry out physical outdoor work in varied weather conditions
Whats On Offer
Salary: Estimated £26,000 £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Permanent role with a respected housing association/grounds maintenance contractor
Covering the Birmingham / Redditch area vehicle & plant provided where applicable
