In this pivotal role, you'll drive financial sustainability, innovation, and service excellence ensuring funding, investment, and performance align with the organisations long-term mission. Your influence will help deliver thousands of new homes, shape community outcomes, and support major transformation programmes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Set the financial vision, developing and delivering Yorkshire Housings financial and treasury strategy.
• Transformational Change: Lead the modernisation of finance systems, processes, and team culture to deliver a future-ready, agile function.
• Strategic Insight: Provide expert financial advice to the Executive Team and Board to shape informed decision-making.
• Governance & Risk: Ensure best-in-class financial governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Optimise Resources: Oversee budget setting, forecasting, procurement, and treasury to ensure value for money and operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and grow a high-performing finance team with a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Future-Readiness: Anticipate and respond to challenges in a changing economic, social, and regulatory landscape.

About You

Were seeking a seasoned, strategic leader who brings:

• A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in senior finance leadership roles with a track record of driving transformation.
• Exceptional understanding of financial planning, accounting, risk, and treasury.
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to Boards and stakeholders.
• Strategic agility turning data into insight and insight into action.
• A values-driven approach and commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and customer service.

Social housing sector experience is a bonus not a requirement.
