ANT Recruitment is hiring Refuse Collectors on behalf of a trusted waste management company in Leeds. This is a physically active, early-start role ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to a cleaner, greener community. Key Responsibilities

• Collect household and commercial waste or recycling from designated routes.
• Work in teams to load refuse into waste collection vehicles.
• Safely manoeuvre wheeled bins, sacks, and other waste containers.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy in residential or commercial environments.
• Follow all Health & Safety and manual handling guidelines.
• Report hazards or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.

What Were Looking For

• Physically fit with the stamina to handle walking, lifting, and loading for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous experience in waste, street cleaning, or manual labour is preferred but not essential.
• Able to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from team leaders or drivers.

What's On Offer

• Salary: £25,000 £30,000 per annum (based on 48-hour week inc. overtime)
• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday Early starts (typically between 5:30 am 6:30 am)
