Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Second Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining and operating the vessel's engineering systems during its relocation. The role requires technical proficiency and the ability to respond promptly to any issues.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute planned maintenance tasks under the direction of the Chief Engineer.
• Monitor machinery spaces, propulsion units, and auxiliary systems.
• Respond immediately to technical issues affecting vessel operations.
• Assist in maintaining technical documentation and regulatory compliance logs.
• Conduct safety checks on critical systems before departure and during voyage.​

Requirements:

• Valid STCW Second Engineer Certificate of Competency.
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as Second Engineer or Motorman.
• Clean criminal record (background check mandatory).
• Ability to mobilise to the South East England region within 3 hours of alert.​
