Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Chief Engineer to oversee the technical operations of a yacht during its relocation. The role involves managing all engineering systems, ensuring their optimal performance, and addressing any technical issues that may arise.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the engineering departments operations and compliance with regulatory standards (ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL).
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance during the voyage.
• Oversee the Second Engineer and deck personnel assisting with machinery operations.
• Monitor fuel, oil, water, and power management systems.
• Ensure immediate response to machinery or technical failures.​

Requirements:

• Valid STCW Chief Engineer certification.
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years experience managing engineering operations for near coastal vessels.
• Clean criminal record (background check mandatory).
• Ability to mobilise to the South East England region within 3 hours of alert.​
