Were currently recruiting a Procurement Assistant / Junior Buyer to join a growing team in Scunthorpe supporting sourcing, supplier management and purchasing functions.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic entrytomid level role for someone who is organised, proactive and keen to build a career in procurement. Youll support the procurement team by raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, monitoring stock, and learning negotiation and contract management skills. With full training and development provided, this role offers a solid stepping stone into procurement and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the procurement team in sourcing goods and services, raising purchase orders and managing supplier communications
• Assist with purchase order processing, data entry and supplier documentation
• Help monitor stock levels and ensure timely deliveries
• Support cost analysis, contract management and procurement administrative tasks
• Learn negotiation support and supplier performance tracking
• Maintain accurate records and support procurement workflows, policies and compliance

About You

Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent (or strong administrative experience)
Excellent organisational, numerical and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Keen to learn and progress within procurement and supply chain
Previous senior admin, purchasing or supplier liaison experience desirable
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support procurement processes

Whats On Offer
