About the Role

ANT Recruitment is supporting an established UK rotary-wing aviation organisation with the appointment of an Avionics Engineer/Technician.

This opportunity would suit an experienced aviation professional who wants to develop their helicopter avionics expertise and potentially progress towards a UK CAA Part-66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.

You will work alongside experienced licensed engineers within a professional and safety-focused maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance under appropriate supervision
  • Assist with the diagnosis and rectification of avionics and electrical faults
  • Inspect, test and maintain aircraft electrical and avionics systems
  • Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with approved procedures
  • Maintain accurate technical and maintenance records
  • Support aircraft inspections and defect investigations
  • Comply with UK CAA regulations and company requirements
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
  • Work effectively with licensed engineers and maintenance-planning colleagues

Essential Requirements

  • Experience within an aircraft-maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems
  • Strong practical fault-finding ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to follow approved technical instructions and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Existing right to work in the UK

Desirable Experience

  • Previous rotary-wing maintenance experience
  • Experience working on Leonardo AW109 or AW169 helicopters
  • Progress towards a UK CAA Part-66 B2 licence
  • Experience within a UK CAA Part-145 maintenance organisation
  • Previous VIP or HEMS aviation experience
