Director of Assets

About the Role

ANT Recruitment is proud to be working with a forward-thinking social housing provider to recruit a Director of Assets. This is a Tier 1 leadership role with significant influence, ideal for a senior professional ready to shape long-term asset management strategy and drive real change in communities.

You will lead a high-performing team focused on neighborhood planning, investment and divestment strategies, and asset performance ensuring the organizations property portfolio is safe, sustainable, and fit for the future. This role also champions value for money, compliance, and data-led decision-making to transform housing stock and strengthen communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the Groups Asset Management Strategy in line with our new Operating Model.
• Lead asset investment planning and divestment programmed across a 28,000+ home portfolio.
• Provide visible and effective leadership across the Assets department, embedding a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.
• Drive compliance, safety, sustainability, and data quality across all asset operations.
• Work cross-functionally with Development, Housing, and Finance to optimise asset value and community impact.
• Act as a key decision-maker and influencer on the Groups Senior Leadership Team.
