About the Role

ANT Recruitment is supporting an established UK rotary-wing aviation organisation with the appointment of an experienced B2 Licensed Helicopter Engineer.

You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and certifying aircraft avionics and electrical systems across a fleet supporting VIP and air ambulance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance
  • Diagnose and rectify complex avionics and electrical system faults
  • Complete aircraft inspections and defect investigations
  • Certify maintenance within the scope of your licence and company approvals
  • Ensure all work complies with UK CAA regulations and company procedures
  • Complete accurate technical and maintenance documentation
  • Work closely with engineering and maintenance-planning teams
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
  • Provide occasional travel or out-of-hours support when required

Essential Requirements

  • UK CAA Part-66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
  • Strong knowledge of helicopter electrical and avionics systems
  • Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience completing and certifying aircraft-maintenance tasks
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Existing right to work in the UK

Desirable Experience

  • Leonardo AW109 or AW169 type rating
  • Previous VIP or HEMS helicopter experience
  • Experience within a UK CAA Part-145 maintenance environment
  • Flexibility to travel and provide occasional operational support

Type-rating training may be available for a suitably licensed engineer.
