Job Summary

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for Anytime Fitness clubs and corporate support teams. This role ensures we attract candidates who align with our fitness-driven culture, customer-first mindset, and operational standards across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for gym and corporate roles, including:

    • Club Managers

    • Membership Consultants

    • Coaches / Personal Trainers

    • Front Desk / Member Experience Staff

    • Corporate and support roles as needed

  • Partner with Operations, Club Managers, and Head Office to understand manpower requirements and hiring timelines

  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, walk-in applicants, and local community channels

  • Conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, attitude, customer service skills, and cultural fit

  • Coordinate interviews, trade tests, and trial shifts where applicable

  • Prepare and extend job offers aligned with company standards and approved compensation structures

  • Maintain accurate applicant records and hiring reports using the HRIS or ATS

  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience from application to onboarding

  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent Anytime Fitness as an employer of choice

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal hiring procedures

  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, hiring volume, and source effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field

  • Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR (fitness, retail, hospitality, or service industry experience is an advantage)

  • Strong communication and interviewing skills

  • Ability to manage high-volume hiring across multiple locations

  • Familiarity with job boards, social media sourcing, and HRIS/ATS platforms
