About the job PT Business Manager (ZA)

The PT Business Manager is responsible for driving the success of the personal training (PT) business within Anytime Fitness. This includes overseeing personal trainer performance, coaching and mentoring team members, increasing PT revenue, ensuring high client satisfaction, and aligning the fitness operations with the clubs overall business goals. The ideal candidate is results-driven, people-oriented, and passionate about health and wellness.

Business Growth & Sales:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual personal training revenue targets.

  • Actively lead in the promotion and selling of PT packages and programs to members.

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly PT metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.

  • Collaborate with the Club Manager and marketing team to create campaigns that drive PT leads and conversions.

Team Management & Development:

  • Lead, train, and manage a team of personal trainers, ensuring high performance and consistent member engagement.

  • Set clear expectations and KPIs for trainers, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and support.

  • Organize regular team meetings, trainings, and upskilling opportunities to ensure service excellence.

Client Experience & Retention:

  • Monitor client satisfaction and implement strategies to improve PT engagement and retention.

  • Ensure high-quality program delivery, member progress tracking, and personalized fitness plans.

  • Resolve client issues and concerns related to personal training services.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure proper onboarding and documentation of all PT clients.

  • Maintain updated PT schedules, attendance records, and trainer availability.

  • Monitor trainer certifications and compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Support execution of fitness events, challenges, and club-wide wellness programs.
