VP Sales & Marketing, Japan Country Manager
Job Description:
The Country Manager, Japan will be responsible for building and scaling the Japan organization while driving business growth in the local semiconductor market. This role will lead market entry and expansion strategies, develop a high-performing local team, and act as the primary representative of the company to customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and grow the Japan business, including team build-out and organizational leadership
- Drive market penetration and revenue growth across targeted semiconductor customers
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities in close collaboration with global R&D, applications, and service teams
- Act as the senior interface for external customers, ensuring strong relationships and commercial success
- Enable strong cross-functional collaboration between sales, applications, service, and headquarters teams
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions
Key Requirements
- Proven track record in NPI execution, market penetration, and business growth within the semiconductor industry
- Strong experience working across cross-functional teams (sales, applications, service, R&D)
- Ambitious, passionate, and hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in both Japanese and English (business level or above)
