Job Summary

The Production Operation Manager oversees the entire pharmaceutical manufacturing cycle, workforce planning, output, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily production planning, manpower deployment, and workflow.
  • Ensure GMP standards are strictly applied.
  • Coordinate production with QA/QC, R&D, warehouse, and engineering team.
  • Drive production performance KPI (yield, rejection rate, downtime).
  • Oversee machine capacity utilization and production cost control.
  • Lead investigations for deviation, breakdown, and process failure.
  • Manage training, discipline, and performance of production staff.
  • Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance in the plant.

Main Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–7 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing; at least 2 years in management role.
  • Knowledge of tablet, capsule, filling, or packaging line operations.
  • Strong leadership and process improvement ability.
