Job Summary:

The Head of Business Development leads strategy and execution for student admissions, school marketing, and brand growth for School Cambodia. The role is vital in achieving enrollment targets, enhancing brand presence, and supporting new school expansions. Requires strong leadership, communication, analysis, and project management skills.

Main Responsibilities: 

Admissions Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and lead annual admissions plans to meet enrollment targets.

  • Manage admissions team and oversee inquiries, tours, and applications.

  • Monitor pipelines, conversion rates, and customer journey data.

  • Create efficient, family-friendly admissions procedures.

  • Build strong relationships with prospective parents and students.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Design marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and enrollment.
  • Manage development/distribution of marketing materials (digital & print).
  • Oversee digital channels: website, SEO, ads, email, social media.
  • Coordinate events like open houses and exhibitions.
  • Track marketing KPIs and adjust strategies based on performance.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare reports on enrollment, trends, and competition.

  • Analyze feedback and surveys to improve admissions and offerings.

  • Present insights to CEO and leadership for decision-making.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and evaluate performance of admissions and marketing teams.

  • Provide training, mentoring, and staff support.

  • Collaborate across departments for unified communication.

  • Liaise with external partners, media, and vendors.

School Branch Expansion & Development

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for new branches.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and market research.

  • Propose academic offerings and positioning.

  • Support launch timelines, forecasts, and marketing.

  • Serve as liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Education (Masters preferred).

  • 5-7 years in business development/marketing, preferably in education.

  • Proven success in enrollment strategy and team leadership.

  • Proficient in digital tools, CRM, and analytics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

  • English proficiency; Khmer is an asset.
