Summery 

The Senior Architect is responsible in delivering coordinated, high-quality architectural design review and production across all project phases. This position focuses on stages from feasibility, concept, schematic, detailed
design development, consultant coordination, technical reviews, and BIM integration. The Senior Architect ensures that architectural outputs align with project goals, regulatory requirements, and multidisciplinary inputs, while proactively resolving design challenges and promoting innovation and best practices.

Design Review and Production Oversight:

ƒ Review architectural drawings, specifications and BIM models submitted by consultants;
ƒ Ensure design deliverables align with project scope, timelines and quality benchmarks;
ƒ Track production progress and flag delays or inconsistencies in consultant submission;
ƒ Coordinate with internal teams/departments to validate design intent and constructability.

Feasibility & Product Study:

ƒ Conduct feasibility assessment during early stages of design to evaluate spatial, function and regulatory viability;
ƒ Research and evaluate architectural products, materials and systems for performance, sustainability and cost effectiveness;
ƒ Support mock-up reviews and material sample evaluation;
ƒ Document findings and provide recommendations to guide design decisions.

Technical Coordination & Issue Resolution:
ƒ Liaise with structural, MEP and specialist consultants to ensure integrated design solutions;
ƒ Identify and resolve design conflicts, discrepancies and compliance issues;
ƒ Support Management in managing RFIs, technical clarifications and design changes;

Stakeholder Interface & Documentation:

ƒ Represent ULS in design coordination meetings with consultants/ contractors;
ƒ Document design decisions, meeting outcomes and action items for follow-up

Design Governance & Innovation Support
:

ƒ Interface with local authorities or other parties to support permitting and regulatory compliance.
ƒ Contribute to enforcement of client-side design standards and guidelines;
ƒ Promote sustainable, cost effective and buildable design principles;
ƒ Share lessons learned and contribute to internal knowledge management.

Education & Experience:

ƒ Bachelors Degree / Masters in Built Environment, Architecture or equivalent;
ƒ Minimum 4-6 years experience of relevant experience in design coordination or multi-disciplinary project environments;
ƒ Basic understanding of BIM processes, local building codes and design documentation workflows;
ƒ Experience in large-scale developments (residential, commercial or mixeduse) is a bonus.

Skills:

ƒ Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills;
ƒ Strong written interpersonal and communication skills;
ƒ Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD) and construction management platform;
ƒ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
ƒ Ability to manage multiple deadlines with stakeholders

Working hours:
Up to 40-44 hours per week; primary work days are Monday to Friday with work outside of official hours will be required on occasions.
