Job Summary

The Procurement & Logistics Manager oversees sourcing, purchasing, import documentation, supplier negotiation, inventory planning, and logistics operations to ensure continuous and compliant supply of pharmaceutical products in line with GMP standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Procurement

  • Lead sourcing and vendor evaluation for raw materials, packaging, equipment, and finished goods.
  • Negotiate price, delivery, and contract terms with local and international suppliers.
  • Manage supplier qualification in cooperation with QA/RA.
  • Forecast stock demand and plan purchase schedules.

Logistics

  • Coordinate international shipping, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
  • Monitor delivery, temperature control (if needed), and document accuracy.
  • Liaise with warehouse for receiving, dispatch, and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical logistics regulations.

Inventory & Cost Management

  • Plan safety stock levels and reorder points.
  • Reduce cost through optimized procurement and delivery.
  • Minimize loss, expired, or damaged goods.

Leadership & Reporting

  • Supervise procurement & logistics team.
  • Create and implement SOPs for purchasing and logistics.
  • Provide monthly procurement & logistic reports.

Main Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or Pharmacy.
  • 2–3 years experience in procurement/logistics; pharma preferred.
  • Strong negotiation & supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of import documentation, INCOTERMS, HS code.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
