Job Summary

The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall laundry operation, including production, quality control, staff management, equipment, inventory, transportation, and cost control. The role ensures smooth, safe, and efficient operations while maintaining high service and quality standards for commercial clients.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage daily laundry production and ensure smooth workflow from receiving, washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, and delivery.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule laundry staff across multiple shifts.
• Monitor linen and garment quantities during receiving and delivery, and follow up on missing or damaged items.
• Ensure all linens, uniforms, garments, and other laundry items meet required cleanliness, hygiene, quality, and safety standards.
• Monitor the operation and condition of industrial washers, dryers, ironers, folders, boilers, and other equipment, and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals, linens, spare parts, and other operational supplies, ensuring timely purchasing and sufficient stock.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to address customer feedback, complaints, and operational issues.
• Manage daily transportation, including laundry collection and delivery schedules and vehicle coordination.
• Assist with operational budgeting and control costs related to labor, chemicals, utilities, maintenance, and other expenses.
• Monitor production and workflow data to improve productivity and reduce waste in water, electricity, and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in a high-volume commercial or industrial laundry facility.
• Proven experience managing large-scale laundry production, preferably several tons of linen and laundry items per day.
• Experience with Continuous Wash Systems (Tunnel Washers) and automated sorting systems is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial laundry processes, chemicals, and formulations.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance for industrial laundry equipment.
• Experience managing large and diverse teams across multiple shifts.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Good knowledge of logistics, fleet routing, and delivery scheduling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, hygiene, and safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and stand for extended periods when required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good written and spoken Khmer and English communication skills are preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours according to business needs.
