Job Summary:
The Head of Operation oversees the companys daily operations, including reservations, ticketing, visa processing, and travel coordination. This role ensures smooth and efficient processes, high-quality customer service, and cost-effective management of resources. The position requires strong leadership, vendor management, and collaboration with internal teams to drive operational excellence and business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire Operations department, ensuring effective execution of company goals.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor managers and staff, supporting their professional development and succession planning.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, and Marketing to align operational activities with commercial strategies.
- Ensure product quality across travel services (hotels, transport, meals, tours) and provide solutions to service issues.
- Oversee operational finance including budgets, costing, compliance, and reporting.
- Monitor industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen vendor relationships and implement effective vendor management practices.
Main Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or Hospitality (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 4 years in senior leadership roles, preferably in the travel/tourism industry.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and digital tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
