Job Summary:

The position is responsible for achieving sales, prescription-generation, and market-share targets by developing and executing effective territory and account plans. The role involves promoting pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, leading a sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as KOLs, hospitals, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales, prescription-generation and market-share targets for assigned products.
  • Promote the companys products to physicians, specialists, pharmacists, hospitals and clinics through regular medical detailing and scientific discussions; present clinical data and product formulation/technical information as required.
  • Serve as the technical/medical point of contact for product formulation questions coordinate with
    R&D/QA/regulatory teams to provide accurate responses to clinicians and procurement committees.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital formularies, tender committees and the Ministry of Health; represent the company in professional/technical meetings and regulatory interactions.
  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of medical representatives / territory managers: set targets, run training on clinical messaging and product formulation, conduct field audits and performance reviews.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends; gather and report actionable market intelligence to Marketing and Product teams to influence promotional strategy and product lifecycle decisions.
  • Ensure all promotional activities comply with local laws, industry codes and internal SOPs (ethical promotion, antibribery, pharmacovigilance reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, pharmacy, life sciences, or related field.
  • Proven Sales record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
