Job Summary

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for controlling daily procurement operations, ensuring accurate PR validation, effective PO monitoring, and strict ERP compliance. The role supports operational efficiency by maintaining process discipline and coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

System Control 

  • Validate completeness and accuracy of Purchase Requisitions (PR) prior to approval.
  • Monitor and control Open Purchase Order (PO) aging on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure timely Goods Receipt Note (GRN) follow-up.
  • Ensure same-day ERP transaction entry for all procurement activities.
  • Escalate supplier delays or issues within 24 hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • PR Approval Lead Time: Timeliness of PR validation and processing.
  • PO Aging Control: Reduction and management of outstanding POs.
  • GRN Matching Accuracy: Accuracy between PO, GRN, and invoice.
  • Supplier Response Time: Speed and reliability of supplier communication.
  • Documentation Accuracy: 100% compliance with required documentation.

Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in décor, paint, construction materials, or related industries.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of decorative materials, paints, and finishing products is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
