Main Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising:
- Plan, set up, and maintain in-store displays, product arrangements, and visual zones that highlight key product stories, promotions, or seasonal themes to enhance customer experience and maximize sales.
- Create eye-catching window displays, feature tables, and product zones for new arrivals, promotions, or themed events (e.g., holiday gift guides, local author features, wellness corners).
- Execute window displays and promotional setups in line with brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Monitor and ensure all visual displays and signage are aligned with brand guidelines and storytelling concepts and make sure all merchandising props are clean, well-maintained, and replaced when necessary.
- Collaborate with the marketing and Merchandising team in-store campaigns and events such as book launches, workshops, or festive promotions.
- Regularly update store layouts and product positioning based on seasonality, trends, sales performance and inventory.
- Training and sharing the concept of visual display to the team to align with brand guidelines.
Retail Operations:
- Maintain expert knowledge of the product assortment including books, stationery, home décor, wellness products, lifestyle accessories/product and gift items.
- Provide personalized recommendations and a warm, approachable service experience for customers.
- Monitor sales trends and customer preferences, providing feedback to buying and merchandising teams.
- Oversee product replenishment, stock rotation, and inventory checks to ensure availability and quality.
- Assist in organizing in-store events like book signings, creative workshops, or community gatherings.
- Assist in daily store operations: cashiering, stock receiving, price tagging, and store opening/closing if needed.
- Assist in receiving, tagging, and displaying new stock according to store guidelines.
