Job Summary

The Accounting Manager leads all accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and full compliance with Cambodian tax laws and international accounting standards. This role supervises the accounting team and supports audits, financial analysis, and process improvements.

Main Responsibilities

Accounting Operations & Controls

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage timely month-end and year-end closings per IFRS and local GAAP.
• Review journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analytical reviews.
• Ensure adherence to Cambodian tax regulations (VAT, withholding, corporate tax).
• Coordinate annual external audits.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Establish procedures, checklists, and internal controls to maintain accuracy.
• Recommend ERP and automation enhancements for efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with finance, procurement, and HR on cost control and reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses.

Main Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years accounting experience with minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Solid knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and IFRS.
• Fluent in English and Khmer.
