Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable Microfinance Institution (MFI), is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance department with a strong focus on compliance, reporting excellence, and leadership. This is a key strategic role with a clear growth path toward becoming the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting aligned with IFRS and local regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor updates from NBC, GDT, and MEF and ensure full compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Deliver financial insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Prepare internal reports and variance analysis for management.
  • Recommend improvements in financial processes and reporting.
  • Train and mentor finance staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Take full ownership of accounting and tax functions.

Main Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and IFRS conversion.
  • Experience with an accounting firm is preferred.
  • Exposure to Banking and Real Estate sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
