Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester (Manual) to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive manual testing. You will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and UI/UX Designers to validate new features, identify software defects, and ensure applications meet functional and business requirements before release.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Main Responsibilities:

Manual Testing

  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to understand testing requirements.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
  • Conduct cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, reproduce, document, and prioritize software defects with clear reproduction steps.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
  • Validate application usability, workflows, and overall user experience.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain accurate testing documentation and test execution reports.
  • Ensure complete test coverage for new features and enhancements.
  • Support release validation and production deployment activities.
  • Recommend improvements to testing processes and QA standards.

Collaboration

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.

Main Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Manual Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience writing test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience testing web and mobile applications.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification.
