Machine Mechanic Supervisor

Job Summary

Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Machine Mechanic Supervisor to oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery. The role ensures continuous, safe, and compliant operations, leads the mechanic team, schedules preventive maintenance, and coordinates with production and QA teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead diagnosis and repair of machinery including tablet presses, capsule machines, mixers, blister packs, filling machines, and packaging lines.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP and safety standards.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely lubrication, calibration, cleaning, and part replacement.
• Supervise, train, and assign daily tasks to machine mechanic team members.
• Coordinate with production when maintenance impacts output.
• Maintain maintenance logs, machine history, spare part records, and support machine qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) with QA/Validation.
• Monitor use of spare parts, apply safe work practices, and control maintenance control maintenance costs.

Main Requirements:

• Technical diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Industrial Machinery, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years experience in machine maintenance; pharmaceutical or food factory preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, machine calibration, and GMP compliance skills.
