Finance Executive/Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Finance Executive/Manager to join our Cambodia operations, covering both Freight Forwarding and Healthcare business verticals. The ideal candidate must be a native of Cambodia, with 2-3 years of experience in the logistics and/or healthcare industry.
They should be proficient in AR/AP, taxation and accounting practices, capable of handling overseas financial transactions, and fluent in English and Khmer.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian Financial Reporting Standards (CFRS) and company
  policies.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget forecasts.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and handle tax audits with relevant authorities.
• Keep updated on local and international tax laws affecting both freight forwarding and healthcare sectors.

Overseas Transactions & Forex Management

• Manage international financial transactions, including vendor payments and invoicing.
• Handle foreign exchange transactions and mitigate risks associated with currency fluctuations.
• Work with banks and financial institutions for cross-border financial operations.

Financial Analysis & Cost Control

• Conduct financial analysis to optimize operational costs in both freight forwarding and healthcare.
• Identify areas to improve profitability and enhance cost-efficiency.
  
• Assist in investment planning and capital allocation for business expansion.
  

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with the regional and global finance teams to ensure financial alignment.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide financial reports and insights to senior management for strategic decisionmaking.
  

Key Requirements:

• Nationality: Cambodian (Native)
• Experience: 3-5 years in finance/accounting (preferably in freight forwarding and/or healthcare)
• Language: Fluent in English and Khmer (both written and spoken)
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  

Expertise in:

• Cambodian taxation and accounting regulations
• International financial transactions and foreign exchange management
• ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Cargowise or similar)
  

Skills:

• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
• Ability to multi-task across different business verticals
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
