Main Responsibilities:

Shipment Handling: 

  • Coordinate Ocean import/export shipments with customers, carriers, and overseas agents. Handle full documentation process (Booking, B/L, Manifest, Invoice, Packing List, etc.). 
  • Ensure on-time cargo delivery and monitor shipment status until final delivery.
  • Arrange container pick-up, return, and follow up on demurrage/detention charges. 

Documentation & System Updates: 

  • Prepare and verify all shipping documents according to customer and regulatory requirements. 
  • Input shipment details into company systems accurately and timely. 
  • File and maintain records for easy retrieval and audit compliance. 

Communication & Coordination:

  • Liaise with carriers, co-loaders, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
  • Communicate proactively with customers about shipment status and exceptions.
  • Coordinate closely with the sales and accounting teams for smooth operations.

Customer Service & Problem Solving: 

  • Provide professional customer support to ensure satisfaction. 
  • Handle and resolve shipment discrepancies or delays. 
  • Maintain good relationships with existing clients and support business development when needed.

Compliance & Reporting: 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, shipping regulations, and local customs rules. 
  • Prepare operation reports as required by management.

Main Requirement:  

  • Bachelors degree or related field of Logistics, Business. 
  • 12 years of experience in ocean freight operations (import/export)
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS, ocean freight documentation, and customs procedures. 
  • Good communication and coordination skills. - Good in Microsoft Office and operational systems. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and export management software. 
  • English language (spoken and written) and Chinese as a plus.
