As our 3D Artist, you'll help create the physical space where players experience Atmosfar through crafting beautiful props ranging from organic to hard surface and assist with set dressing; making the world of planet Tycos come alive! The position is offered as a one (1) year project employment with possibility of extension, in a hybrid work location setting at our office in Malmö, Sweden. If you are located elsewhere in Sweden, a remote setup is also possible.

About the position

What you will do

• Create game assets by modeling and texturing a variety of stylized environment, architecture and object props
• Create PBR textures and materials to compliment the title's art direction
• Collaborate with the rest of the art team to continually revise game environments and refine the visual experience
• Be mindful of memory and performance restrictions
• Work in Unreal Engine and Blender

Who you are

• Strong 3D modeling and texturing skills with the ability to both sculpt organics and model hard surfaces
• Solid understanding of industry standard tools such as Photoshop, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Zbrush and Blender
• Experience from game level production with a strong focus on layout and composition
• At least three (3) years of experience working with 3D art or other relevant role
• Artistic at heart with a technical skill set
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English

When you're a bonus

• Skill set focused on organic assets
• Experienced with character and or creature sculpting
• Interest in open world survival games
• An indie mentality of initiative, flexibility and proactive problem solving
• At least one (1) relevant title shipped as a 3D Artist
