Machine Learning Engineer

Imubit builds AI software that helps industrial plants run smarter. Our technology connects to real-time plant data, learns how the process behaves, and then recommends (and in some cases automates) the best operating moves - so teams can improve profit, stability, and energy use every day. We work in complex environments like refineries and chemical plants, where reliability and security matter as much as accuracy. Our platform is built to scale across many sites and supports both cloud and on-premise deployments, so customers can adopt it in the way that fits their operations.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced senior machine learning research engineer with a deep curiosity for understanding systems and a relentless drive to innovate. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives on tackling complex problems, exploring new ideas, and pushing boundaries. We want someone who doesn't just solve given tasks but proactively envisions and develops new applications, challenges the status quo, and enhances models and methodologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

In your role you will:

• Conduct cutting-edge research to develop new functionalities for our models, expanding Imubit's core deep reinforcement learning technology.
• Advance the development of AutoML solutions (proprietary and GenAI based) to streamline and enhance machine learning workflows.
• Drive the productization of your research, transforming innovative concepts into impactful, production-ready solutions.
• Design and implement solutions with a focus on scalability, efficient runtime performance, and seamless deployment in production environments.
• Work closely with domain experts on model development, where custom solutions and out-of-the-box thinking are required


Requirements:

• MSc in machine learning or related area
• At least 5 years of hands-on machine and deep learning experience
• Self-reliant, proactive, with strong motivation, an inquisitive mind and excellent communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with deep learning on time series data (Transformers / recurrent models) experience with developing software or developing production grade solutions that include software modules
• Experience with training neural networks in cloud environments (GCP/AWS) and distributed systems
• Experience/education in signal processing/ control theory/ reinforcement learning
• Academic research experience
