Location: Juno Beach, FL (Remote Available) | Duration: 12 Months | Rate: $42/hour

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage photovoltaic (PV) projects from interconnection through permitting and construction phases
  • Manage Engineers of Record (EORs), EPCs, and consultants to ensure technical deliverables align with project requirements
  • Write and manage Scopes of Work and participate in contract negotiations
  • Review designs, studies, and drawings for conformance with requirements and AHJ standards
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines
  • Support project financing due diligence and provide value engineering solutions
  • Lead technical conversations with Transmission Owners and ISOs
  • Oversee project documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Support construction activities and respond to RFIs
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget oversight

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field)
  • 6-10 years of engineering project management experience, preferably in solar, BESS, or power industry
  • Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, power systems, and industry standards (ASME, NERC, etc.)
  • Experience with engineering software tools (ETAP, EDISON preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical teams
