Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site
 - Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality and safety performance on the project
 - Manage walk downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approve contractor payment requests, verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocations, assess field status and resolve issues as needed
 - Maintain scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules and work in progress to ensure Construction Supervisors are effectively implementing their assignments and obtaining the desired results
 - Provide leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce, communicating departmental, station and division goals and validating each performer's ability to impact those goals
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing construction projects in engineering and construction environments
 - Strong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, and budget oversight
 - Excellent leadership and coaching abilities with experience supervising construction teams
 - Deep understanding of safety performance standards and quality control protocols
 - Experience with contractor management, payment approvals, and constructability reviews
 - Strong analytical skills for assessing productivity and resolving field issues
 - Excellent communication skills for coordinating across multiple stakeholders
 - Ability to validate work against design requirements and technical specifications
 - Experience with performance reporting and progress tracking systems
 - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
