Key Responsibilities

• Lead design phase and engineer major components for utility-scale energy storage projects
• Review and optimize engineering drawings for design quality and efficiency
• Identify and resolve technical issues in engineering studies
• Prepare detailed technical scopes of work for major contracts
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and influence engineering decisions
• Manage project milestones and proactively identify risks
• Work closely with equipment suppliers and integrate major systems
• Navigate permitting requirements and propose solutions to regulatory challenges
• Support projects through full lifecycle from planning to commissioning

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in Solar/PV Engineering and/or Construction
• Deep expertise in power electronics, battery storage system design, or substation design
• Strong knowledge of energy storage technologies including battery chemistries and power conversion
• Familiarity with safety standards: UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, NFPA 855, NEC
• Experience with IEC standards (61215, 61646, 61730)
• Proven ability to handle complex technical tasks independently
• Excellent communication skills and project management capabilities
