Overview of the Role:
Join a thriving commercial construction firm as an Assistant Controller, serving as the vital link between field operations and financial management. In this impactful position, you'll leverage your accounting expertise to drive financial accuracy while supporting growth initiatives across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect field teams with accounting operations, ensuring seamless information flow
• Analyze financial data and present actionable insights during monthly division reviews
• Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Supervise job costing team while developing improved financial policies
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial initiatives
• Conduct regular site visits (25%) to maintain alignment between office and field operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of finance/accounting experience in commercial construction
• Expertise in job costing, GL management, and financial reporting
• Experience with construction-focused ERP systems (e.g., ECMs)
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams proficiency
• Spanish language skills preferred
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
• Experience with multi-company structures and process improvement
