Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect field teams with accounting operations, ensuring seamless information flow
  • Analyze financial data and present actionable insights during monthly division reviews
  • Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, financial reporting, and budgeting
  • Supervise job costing team while developing improved financial policies
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial initiatives
  • Conduct regular site visits (25%) to maintain alignment between office and field operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of finance/accounting experience in commercial construction
  • Expertise in job costing, GL management, and financial reporting
  • Experience with construction-focused ERP systems (e.g., ECMs)
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams proficiency
  • Spanish language skills preferred
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
  • Experience with multi-company structures and process improvement
