Lead the Future of Renewable Energy Transmission
Are you a seasoned transmission engineering professional ready to drive critical infrastructure for renewable energy projects? Join our team to design and manage transmission lines that connect wind, solar, and battery storage facilities to the power grid.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage transmission line design projects from conception through construction and commissioning
Develop project requirements and influence scope with Early Stage Project Managers
Source and manage engineering consultants to execute design work
Coordinate route development, engineering data collection, and permit acquisition
Develop engineering deliverables for competitive proposals and construction
Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure project success
Represent Engineering & Construction interests with management stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering
7+ years of direct experience in high voltage transmission line development and design
Strong knowledge of transmission design principles and standards
Excellent communication and project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Technical competence in reading electrical diagrams and related documents
Willingness to travel within North America
Preferred:
PMP and/or P.E. certification
Proficiency with PLSCADD, Microsoft products, AutoCAD, and Primavera
Project Engineering/Management experience
Compensation:
Up to $78.70/hour depending on experience
