Join the forefront of renewable energy innovation! We're seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to develop control systems for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee implementation of control system requirements for utility-scale energy storage projects

  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers on factory integration testing of new hardware designs

  • Create processes for managing control system requirements across a large fleet of power plants

  • Support commissioning teams during plant turnover

  • Serve as a controls subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or technical degree in a related field

  • 5+ years of SCADA/Controls engineering experience

  • Strong background in power plant controls and renewable energy

  • Experience developing and verifying software requirements

  • Excellent project management and communication skills

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<10%)
