Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage permit applications for cutting-edge battery installation projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
- Track permit status and ensure timely submission of all required documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, and project management
- Interpret local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements
- Prepare comprehensive permit applications and supporting documentation
- Proactively identify permitting challenges and develop effective solutions
- Maintain detailed records and communicate timelines to project teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of corporate experience, preferably in permitting or regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of building codes and permitting processes
- Experience with energy infrastructure projects (battery projects preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven team collaboration abilities
- Strong organizational and multi-project management skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional documentation capabilities
- Problem-solving mindset for navigating complex regulatory requirements
