Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain and calibrate advanced clinical equipment and systems
  • Mentor and support junior BMET positions through teaching and guidance
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all biomedical equipment operations
  • Provide advanced technical support for direct patient care equipment
  • Collaborate with clinical health providers to identify and solve technology-based challenges
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports
  • Maintain financial responsibility for parts purchasing and service decisions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare technology repair and maintenance
  • Proven experience with clinical devices: Servo U/I, V60s, Trilogy EV300 Ventilators, GE Anesthesia equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry and equipment operation
  • Leadership experience with mentoring capabilities
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
